Cygnus Wall
The Cygnus Wall, a prominent region within the North America Nebula (NGC 7000), is located approximately 2,590 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. It is one of the most active stellar nurseries in our galaxy, where intense ultraviolet radiation from young, massive stars sculpts the surrounding hydrogen clouds into towering ridges, glowing fronts, and intricate filaments. The result is one of the most dramatic and richly detailed emission nebulae visible in the summer night sky.
